Transition to New User Interface (New UI)

Accela developed a New User Interface (New UI) for the back office that was released in Civic Platform version 8.0 (in our Production environment since July 2016).  The New UI has an updated, modernized look and feel that provides an intuitive user experience to help you get your job done more effectively and efficiently.  The most noticeable difference is the look of the screens and the way in which you navigate.  We are working on transitioning OSM agencies to the New UI in waves.  We have completed the first and second waves.  The third wave will transition on June 12 and the fourth wave will transition on July 17.  We are moving in waves because of the bulk of configuration and training that is required for each agency.  Additionally, when we turn on the New UI for an agency, we also implement a new and exciting enhancement where you can email messages to your customers at any stage in the workflow and the emails are recorded with the record in a new “Communications” page.
